They supply all the necessary indications for the differential diagnosis of small-pox, chicken-pox, measles, German measles, scarlatina, diphtheria, idiopathic erysipelas, typhus, typhoid, and mumps. The normal periods of latency, premonitory fever, duration of fever, and length of infectiveness of these disorders are clearly contrasted in a colored chart.
